    An escape room is an interactive game where participants work together to solve clues, uncover patterns and complete challenges inside a themed environment. You progress through the story by connecting information and completing the room’s objectives.

  • Do players get locked inside

    No. Players are never locked in at any time. You can step out of the room if needed, and the door remains accessible throughout the entire game.

  • Are the games private

    Yes. Every booking at 5th Street Escape Room is private. This means no other individuals or groups will join your session. This allows families, couples and teams to enjoy the experience comfortably.

  • How long does a session last

    Most sessions last about sixty minutes. This includes the main game and a short introduction and review before and after your experience. Guests are encouraged to arrive at least fifteen minutes before their scheduled start time.

  • Are the rooms suitable for beginners

    Yes. Many visitors are first time players. The staff provide guidance, instructions and support to help new players understand how to participate and enjoy the experience.

How do I book a game

Bookings can be made by phone or through the reservation system on the website. Reservations are by appointment only, and walk ins are not guaranteed.

Can I change my booking time

If you need to adjust your booking time, contact staff as soon as possible. Schedule changes depend on the availability of the room and the updated time slot.

Are walk ins allowed

Walk ins may be accepted if a room happens to be available, but they are not guaranteed. Calling ahead is recommended for last minute visits or same day sessions.

What is the recommended arrival time

Groups should arrive fifteen minutes before the scheduled start of the game. This allows time for check in, briefing and preparation.

Game Experience Questions

  • Do we receive hints

    Yes. Hints are available upon request. Staff monitor your progress and provide guidance when needed to help keep your group moving forward.

  • Are the rooms scary

    The Witches Stone is not designed to be frightening and focuses on mystery and discovery. The Meatlocker contains more suspenseful elements but is not a full horror experience. Players may choose the room that best suits their comfort level.

  • What happens if we do not finish

    If your group does not complete the room within the sixty minutes, staff will walk you through the remaining puzzles and help explain the story so you can enjoy the full narrative.

  • Are the puzzles physical

    Some puzzles involve physical interaction such as opening locks, searching for hidden objects or manipulating items. All tasks are safe and designed to accommodate a wide range of players.

  • Can we take photos inside the room

    Photos are not permitted inside the active game areas to protect the integrity of the experience. After the game, groups may take photos in designated areas.
